EmpowerPH | Cabalen Reapers Successfully Host “Tournament for a Cause” in Support of Child Battling Leukemia | Angeles City, Pampanga — The Cabalen Reapers and the vibrant blader community came together for a meaningful event, the “Tournament for a Cause,” held at Retro Seoul Roller Skates in Angeles City last September 28, 2025

The special tournament was organized as a way of giving thanks and giving back to the community, with all accumulated funds from previous competitions donated entirely to five-year-old Pia Franchesca M. Quizon, a strong and spirited girl from Purok 4, San Juan, City of San Fernando, Pampanga, who is bravely fighting leukemia.

The event featured a large prize pool and brought together skaters, families, and supporters who rallied behind one goal — to make a difference. In a heartwarming display of solidarity, participants and attendees wore pink shirts in honor of Pia’s fight and to symbolize hope and unity.

“We’re deeply grateful to everyone who participated and contributed,” the organizers shared. “The outpouring of support from the blader community reminds us that beyond the sport, we are a family — one that stands together for a cause.”

The Cabalen Reapers extend their heartfelt thanks to all participants, sponsors, and supporters who made the event a success. Through this initiative, the group continues to prove that passion, when shared with purpose, can change lives.
